I thought he was going to do the comedy trope thing of going down then re-appearing on the ground at the back of the crowd. I was fully prepared to be out-raged about that.

Is it that Ryan Reynolds seems like a really great guy or that he simply hasn’t shown that he isn’t?

That makes sense to me. There is a certain polished American woman look, and it probably comes with with baggage and asumptions. That’ll be the media.

Also, this show looks like it ought to be nothing much, but it does insist on continuing to be really, really good.

Don’t know if this is airing in the US or not. Worth a watch.

It is entirely worth noting that this procedure was done under the auspices of the NHS, and so would not have cost this lady anything.
