It's all the best parts of an Indiana Jones movie, but you get to play them. Great characters, great voice acting, marvelous set pieces, fun gameplay, great graphics.

Same. All the mods to improve visuals make the game look so much worse IMO. Removing the sunset hue to Majula is NOT an improvement, and neither is just making everything darker.

I know what you mean. I think I was stuck in Undead Burg in the first game for something like 12 hours. Once I figured things out and pushed through the area, I had a gaming experience I will never forget.

My wife has been watching me play and the easier nature of DS2 is even obvious to her.

There are bonfires ALL OVER this game. Part of the tension of DS was those long hauls between bonfires, but it is gone in the sequel. Bonfires are so closely and obviously placed that there is never any tension.

Yeah, I was looking at footage from one of the other DSII graphics mods, and in Majula it completely eliminated the sunset hue that the lighting had in favor of some darker tone. Not better at all.

Not sure if this is better looking or just darker.
