in my experience the 360 controller is much better integrated with steam; thats all really.

I think the best way to justify the cost is that the DLC is far better than most movies people happily plunk down $15 to watch in the theatre. I'm happy to pay $15 for a good movie, and especially for a game as well crafted as this DLC>
