I will never doubt anyone at Jalopnik ever again.

I just blew my second transmission in 3 months yesterday, so I am going car shopping today. Why are cars such cruel mistresses?

Jason, I think you meant to say that pugs are the 1906-1911 Lanchester 28's and 1911-1914 Lanchester 38's of dogs.

My first car was a 98 zj, bone stock, I6. Loved mudding in that thing. One time I was almost finished rootin for the day when I spotted a hole. My buddy said dude just go for it. Punched it and grounded out on the middle of the ruts. Those puppies had to be like 2 feet deep. I had no tow hitch at all, I couldn’t wrap

Thank you for this hot take. Never heard anyone say it before. Guess I’ll stop watching NASCAR now

Car companies really ought to just keep making crossovers smaller and smaller, lower the ground clearance, maybe extend the roof line a little bit, call it a sport crossover and BAM wagons are back.

What car do you have as your desktop background?

I’m making my second 100+ mile trip this weekend since I replaced my blown transmission with a junkyard transmission. So far, looks like I put it in right. Wish me luck, I need it.

How he managed not to hit any elderly people going 45 in the left lane is astounding

So underappreciated. All-aluminum, VVT, DOHC, and almost as much power as the 5.3L V8. I think it had potential to be a proper performance engine, but GM misused it.

Man, I hope y’all are still doing this when I finally get the stones to put a GM 4.2L Atlas I-6 from a Trailblazer into a Corvair. I’ll make it work I promise

As cool as it is that girls everywhere could look up to Danica Patrick and realize girls can race too, they deserve better than Danica Patrick. Much respect to her and what she did for the sport, but I don’t think I’ll miss her too much.

Dear Amazon,

First off Kristen, great article and great photos. Second, how did you like Richmond? I’ve lived here my whole life and it is always nice to get a visitor’s perspective on things. Did you like the city? More importantly, did you like our roads? Did you see any other cool cars you liked?

This story wasn’t crazy enough for Florida

I have an ‘04 trailblazer (straight 6 of course) with a 3 inch body lift, tahoe rear springs, and 3 inch coil spacers on 33s and it drives pretty well. While it doesn’t drive like my bone stock ‘98 Grand Cherokee did and rubs like a big girl’s thighs, I don’t have many complaints other than acceleration.
