There’s no reason why you can’t have an engineer’s race that is also close and exciting. I’m an engineer, and part of engineering is working within a budget. Doing the most you can with a finite amount of resources and dreaming up creative solutions to maximize that budget.

I also have pretty bad astigmatism, which probably plays into why dark mode didn’t work out for me despite liking the a e s t h e t i c s. But having switched back...I don’t miss dark mode that much. Dems de breaks.

Affinity Photo is amazing! Easy to learn, very fast and extremely capable. The way it deals with layers is rather different from PS but it can open Photoshop files und use its brushes. Highly recommended!

Yeah, unless you want a graphic design/web design/concept art job, I wouldn’t bother.
