I dunno, over 20 years riding the NYC subway. Back in the 90s you could get “jacked”. Even regular earbuds reduce ambient noise, so you’re basically saying no headphones on the subway platform?

Good info. This is why I got the two cards. Promo balances go on one card and I don’t have to worry about other purchases screwing up the payoff of the promo balance. Plus since I reserve it for large purchases, I rarely have more than one promo on it.
