I don’t respect that at all as it’s pretty common. That happened to me in Rome also while walking. A bunch of kids come up to distract you while an older woman with cardboard tried to stick her hand in my pocket. I blocked her hand and stole the cardboard from her.

Good info. This is why I got the two cards. Promo balances go on one card and I don’t have to worry about other purchases screwing up the payoff of the promo balance. Plus since I reserve it for large purchases, I rarely have more than one promo on it. 

Yeah, I was just running the numbers. With the example purchase I used above, I put the $2500 in a savings account with a promo 4% interest rate. Assuming I pull the $100 a month from that account, over 2 years, I’ll have made about $150 on my cash.

These offers are awesome, I do this stuff all the time. I don’t really see any problems with it.
