Fix It Alla Time

I honestly don’t get it how you can make a car so unreliable these days. Is there a curse on where a particular car is made or they are stubborn to fire the supplier for the parts needed to make a car?

You could say that for Oliver, perhaps. They do have a cult following in several regions these days. (I think a lot of that depended upon dealers.) In east Texas, where I live, they’re very hard to find. In central Texas, where our farm is, they are fairly easy to find - even today. White (the truck company) bought

I’m in farm country. To the farmers, it’s EXACTLY like mafia protection.

Doesn’t International do tractors/farm equipment? I dunno. All I’ve ever heard was John Deere, and I’ve never liked what they preached for their equipment. Sure, it’s “Made in America”, but if I can’t service it myself, I’ll buy Japanese, Swedish, anything else so that I can fix it myself without being held hostage...

I had a ‘73 Pinto way back when that looked like that. At 8 years of age.

Have you ever seen anything more beautiful that this, old timer?

I still mourn the death of Allis-Chalmers.

You don’t cruise around bouncing off the rev limiter? You’ve been missing out.

Fake news! I’ve been getting speeding tickets in manual-transmission cars for years now. YEARS.

What brand of tractor should a farmer buy if he likes doing his own wrenching?

Stay away from the Google image search as well.

Something tells me I should not look up “tossed salad” on urban dictionary.

Cannot kill a Ford 8N

There are lots of options - New Holland/Ford, Case IH, Caterpillar, Versatile. My family used John Deere for years, we were a green and yellow family because the damn things never broke down the way that IH or Case did. I mean, they all break down eventually but what usually broke on the John Deere’s was cheaper and

I was just about to ask the same thing. Is it really just JD or nothing out there?

Peace of mind is worth a lot to some people. No stress in their minds.

Your name is dipshit.
