Here’s my own legend for the legend: Someone who writes business textbooks didn’t understand a joke.
Nah, it’s more that the suffix -er indicates something that does the act. Like a Raider goes on raids, a New Yorker lives in New York, an Avenger avenges. If there’s an edict at Chrysler it’s more that their products have to sound cool. At the same time as that we had the Fury, the Satellite, Firedome, the Power…
This would be the dev team themselves fucking around if it was marketing, rather than SE corporate whose head is so far up their ass they can see what they had for dinner.
I wouldn’t say “shit show” but it does imply that the car isn’t actually finished. Usually do focus groups way before the car is, you know, actually sold.
You're never going to be able to stop writing that book
That's basically my plan, but there's always a chance I'll need a new one for whatever reason
Personally, I wouldn’t want any lights at all - my keyboard is lit a dark blue (with keys turning red briefly when pressed) but my case is light free - but white does have a certain gallery kind of thing if they actually set up the cooling properly.
It’s actually incredibly difficult to find a case without a window. It took a lot of work to find the case I have now, but I’m a bit concerned that next time I need a new one I’m pretty much going to have to give up and just paint over it.
Honestly, I think Standard Gamer Rig - big side window, flashy LEDs, case design that looks a bit like a transformer - is boring because it’s the default. I mean, I might be the only person to see it, but I still have to see it, and my god I hate that tacky bullshit.
I expect that it isn't, but there was an executive that wanted it to be until they saw the reaction to NFTs and the market crashing.
Car casting is never about whether or not the car itself is good, but whether or not the car makes SENSE. Like you want a car that, when you see it, makes sense for the character driving it.
Jerry’s Saab! The van his friend tried to sell him! Kramer’s old Impala with an ASSMAN plate!
Isn’t that a really common thing with scams, cults and stuff of that nature? Usage of unique terminology to separate the in-group with the outside world.
Are people still buying NFTs? After that Corvette didn’t sell and crypto crashed I assumed the bubble burst.
Interestingly, I’d argue that if you start with 0 the references actually still pay off when you encounter them later. It works really well as an entry point while also working really well if you play in release order.
The first gen S40/V40 did have a lot of Carisma.
Okay but maybe the controller is really, really big.
No, Jim Ryan was only CEO very recently, but he’s been at Sony for a while.
They actually abandoned the trademark for the Amico and I'd still believe it's going to come out before this.
