The average car isn’t really relevant to this conversation, it’s comparing cars at the same price point that are supposed to achieve basically the same goals and have roughly the same target audience. As a cheap commuter, the Mini-E - at least in CAD - is worse than the Bolt for more money.

My road trip example wasn’t like the hypothetical daily 5,000 Mile road trip that the big EV skeptics bring up - just 200-300km, often with an overnight stay. Something that isn’t unreasonable for a lot of modern EVs, and I will probably get one as my next car - though hopefully not for many years because I like my

Hilariously, Fitz Matush is dismissing every comment that says he’s wrong and that it doesn’t look anything like the ‘hey dey of Honda’. I bring it up here because he just said it looks like an old Honda because it has a grille and headlights.

I like how you dismissed my post because I went in depth about how you’re wrong with clear examples and explanations.

That argument is valid only if the Mini-E is substantially cheaper than other EVs. In Canada, a Mini-E will run you an advertised $40,000. For that money I can buy a Chevrolet Bolt or Nissan Leaf (for two that were on the top of my head), save a couple thousand, and get substantially more range.

Whether or not the “hey day of Honda” was the epitome of design isn’t the issue. It’s that your post shows a complete lack of knowledge of Honda design or the general trends and habits of the company at that point.

Change several important details and proportions isn’t the argument you think it is.

Gormless. It looks like it’s going “durrrrrrr”.

Did you know that you can still buy a Karma Revero? Specifically, the Karma Revero GS-6. It remains a Karma Revero.

Technically correct, the best kind of correct:

I agree with the choice and yet you didn’t say my reason: Major controls are implemented in an extremely stupid way. Yoke steering wheel, capacitive turn singles, shifter that guesses where you want to go, or is in a touch screen if you disagree.

It isn’t based on the Civic. It’s based on the Fit.

Nothing during the "hey-day of Honda" looked nearly this gormless.

This design is so forgettable that one could be parked across the street and I wouldn’t realize I saw it every day.

Styling-wise, the old one looked better. Rear view is very anonymous - the old one was a bit over the top but had some style, this doesn’t - but the real problem is the front, where it just looks like the car is going “durrrrrrrrr.”

That is the end of the month though so who knows.

Doubtful. Pretty much all of the old staff is gone.

I was going to say "just pick the middle option on the debit machine like a normal person" before remembering the insane way tips are handled in American restaurants.
