Om that same game you could play as the Maratha and take over the world. Or in the expansion play as a NA tribe and stop Manifest Destiny.

For me there is a cumulative effect. I played the first 4-5 AC games, so the repetition I’m talking about is repetition across the franchise. I wasn’t saying that Odyssey was more or even as repetitive as the first few games. I find the act of controlling the character and engaging in combat to be rather dull after so…

I would watch a spin off of WWDITS called, The Adventures of Jackie Daytona.
I was done with AC games probably after Black Flag. I did purchase both Unity and Odyssey and played for maybe 10 hours of Unity and 5 hours of Odyssey. As impressive as these games are (and they really are) and as much as I love history, the core game play at this point is too repetitive. I love to read about these…

What is your alternative?
Keep this article up so my wife finds it.
How do you unbland a face, give him a goatee?
Oh god, the ponchos. Like, who thought it would be a good idea for 90% of the clothing options to be poncho related???
I love Jedi: Fallen Order. Good combat and level design, and the best Star Wars story since, I don’t know, KOTOR II? The ending in particular was surprisingly moving and cool.
The game is a triumph of development. It’s my favorite shooter and has legs like no other. I’d love to be playing this 5 years from now.
Agree. Great game but really difficult.
Same as it ever was. Graphically none of this stuff wows me at all. If you told me it was on an Xbox One X or a decent PC, I wouldn’t have batted an eye.
No. Bad writing, bad special effects, and bad characters were the problem.
How is it aging well?
If you set the bar low enough, CS can clear it.
I agree with you on the reason for the 50s theme, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. The 50s to me is such a less romantic time for an Indy movie compared to the 1930s.
The special effects from the first three films, which are decades old, have aged better than the garbage CGI from CS.
Tintin was a better Indiana Jones movie than CS.
This show was one season of story stretched out to 3.
As someone who has played every AC game but only ever finished the first one, I really appreciate this summary of the lore. I had no idea!
