I wish AC: Odyssey had a free roam option. I would love to explore its world, but I have zero interest in completing the story or really even engaging in any of the missions. 

I’m ok with this. If they hadn’t killed it, then I imagine work on BF II would have stopped at least a year ago. I can’t imagine that a BF III would be much different than II.

This show registered as an 11 on the guilty pleasure/shame scale. I was entertained watching it, but I felt like I needed a hot shower after each episode.

Hopefully Season 4 follows the adventures of 4 small town Russian kids as they try and unravel the mysteries going on at People’s Nuclear Reactor #77 that sits just outside their town which houses the terrifying Capitalist Roader. 

Was it a fakeout? They showed Hopper alive in the post credits scene at the end of Season 3. 

I don’t love base building personally, but CoH does have base building. You need to build buildings in order to tech up to bigger and better units, it’s just that base building is not the primary focus of the game. How you use and position your units is much more important than outproducing your opponent.

What CoH does so well that has ruined most other RTS’s for me is the concept of cover. A unit fighting from cover is so much better than one fighting out in the open. That tactical element makes the game so much more engaging and gives the maps and units a grounded feel that most other RTS’s can’t match. Carefully…

This game is obviously a labor of love. One of the best indies I’ve ever played. 

I think this is a fine use of VR if it gives parents comfort, but I don’t need to see a TV show made out of it for other’s entertainment. 

What happened?

Agreed. Godzilla was mediocre at best. Kong Skull Island was great fun. 

Rogue 1 is the best Disney SW movie made, and I’d argue the third best SW film of all time. 

Right. It could just be they needed to set up the scrunchie (sp?) exchange, and so the actual fighting part needed to take a back seat.

Any time I see a kid with a cut like that it makes my head hot. 

Really good write up. What I like about Marriage Story is it really doesn’t take sides and the ending is not Hollywood. There’s not really some great catharsis for either character at the end. They’re just living their new normal and the beat goes on. 

I’d never heard of this until now, and upon watching the video have to conclude that the fight choreography was indeed terrible.
