Wow.
Wow.
Nice
I think the point of the Surface Tablet in general is to be your one-stop-shop for anything related to computing (other than smartphones). If you have one, there's simply no reason to own a PC, Laptop/Ultrabook, and an iPad (or other tablet of choice) unless you do something VERY niche with your other devices, like PC…
Best amp for volume: bathroom sink or backspash. However, not the most portable solution.
Your math is correct. That's not an insignificant amount of running.
Agreed. Most effective diets have to include some ketosis (as ketone production is a direct symptom of fat loss), my favorite being cyclic ketogenic diet, as it helps with sports performance and allows refeeds for glycogen storage. But people survive just fine in long bouts of ketogenic state. I'm sure this method of…
Yeah, I totally agree. Most things I pirate I CANNOT procure through official channels. A good example is AC/DC or Metallica music. I pay monthly for Spotify, and often times buy music through Amazon/iTunes. I can't buy their material through any of the above, so I pirate it and they don't get my money. Furthermore, I…
How does the Government make trillions off of people with cancer? I'll buy the fact that big pharma is making trillions off of cancer and ever present preventable diseases (*cough* Type-2 diabetes *cough*), and the Government is making billions off of the fiscal suffering of citizens and non-citizens alike, but in…
Not to be off color, but a good test would be to see if homosexual men experienced the same reaction with a woman, or furthermore, exhibited decreased cognitive function being told a man was watching. I think that would more clearly rule in, or out, sexual desire as the prime candidate that was impairing cognition.
Agreed. During my early 20's I was rather obese (~250 at 5' 9") and, ate and drank to my waist's content, and didn't exercise at all. Then I realized I was fat and decided to make a change. I changed my diet completely, spent 2 hrs, 4-5 times a week at the gym, 4-8 miles a week running or elliptical, and A LOT of…
Agreed. Pot calling the kettle black?
Dude...then don't read it. Are you that guy that asks to go to a restaurant, orders something, and then complains about the food, service, and atmosphere like it's someone else's fault?
Actually I was thinking about the iCade when I wrote the price. It's apparently $70, which is still STEEP, but it's the best design, in my opinion.
I feel like iControlPad ([www.icontrolpad.com]) is a more elegant solution and doesn't take up the headphone port. But same problem applies; $80 for a controller you can use for about 5 games. Boooo!
An AMAZING app I stubled upon last night is Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock ([itunes.apple.com]). There's others like it, but I downloaded this one and it's FANTASTIC! It's designed to wake you gently based on how you stir during the night. I always have issues waking up, and this works GREAT!
I'd agree with the Romney nomination. Despite Obama's poor approval ratings and high unemployment, sane people in the US will never vote for Cain or Perry because they're just too far out there. On the other hand, Romney seems less crazy and has successfully governed a blue state for a while.
Ya. I'm in system administration and have the option to telecommute on occasion. I find that I'm far more productive at home as I don't have as many distractions. Think about all the distractions you have at work: boss(es), co-workers, breaks, where to go for lunch, people approaching you with problems incessantly.
I think everyone should be able to make a basic pot of chili. It's cheap, good, and when done right, EXTREMELY healthy, especially when using turkey. It was the first dinner I learned how to make. My brother in law sent this to me when I graduated college:
