@Gameboy70: The search button is your friend. A common refrain is how useless it is, but just tap it while in contacts and you have nigh instant access to all of your contacts, by any of their info fields. Pro-tip: it also works from the home screen.

@pixelpushing: There are pretty clear trends in upgrade cycles. The heavy hitters, Droid, EVO, etc, get upgraded because a vast vast majority of users have them, and plenty of nerds (myself included) bother them about it. Samsung is the unfortunate exception, despite its promises.
