@Slinkytech: Actually, the second panel becomes a foregone conclusion thanks to instant. I've all but given up on discs at this point.

@Lex Luthor II: I think that's why Harry's such a good hero. He's not unassailable; in most of his adventures he relies a lot on others and luck. His heart is in the right place, and as he stumbles through his trials he eventually triumphs.

@Burke: I think the only mention of American magic was in Goblet of Fire, where some witches from Salem showed up for the Quidditch cup. Just a token reference, really.

@kerry: I'm THIS close to just downloading some pdfs. Honestly, I've already paid plenty for various editions of the books.

@PeterLorre: Packed with over 20 exciting minigames, like:

Scholastic or whoever the hell should get on this- I would totally pay for the Harry Potters again. I go back every so often and read through them again, and it'd be nice to not have to deal with massive paperbacks with increasingly degraded bindings.

This isn't about Android version but hardware, and it's a problem for everyone. As much as consumers love not having to worry about checking the specs of their computers, it's not like they run on unicorn giggles. See also: iOS 4 on iPhone 3G.

@kosai: You wanted to choose?! LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE.

@Aaron Crabtree: I expected Sully to pull out a walkman at any time.

@Namos: Not really what I was trying to say...

@styfle: DC: 1999-2000

@sqlrob: This has been happening a lot lately. It's kinda killing any incentive to get the game right away (aside from the new game impulse).

@Namos: I agree that certain trends are worrisome, as you point out above. But I also think that the converse is a bad thing. All you need to do is look to Japan; they have used the same story and gameplay tropes for so long (and indeed, are expected to by the Japanese public) that they have fallen by the wayside of

@Shinta: You have a point about Nier's soundtrack. The whole game was kind of weird and unexpected (and actually quite good because of that) but the soundtrack in particular I liked without reservation.

@Dorisaurus: Dude, but Neville though. He fulfilled his almost chosen status with aplomb. I actually shouted out loud at that part.

@thefloodgod: I need to disagree with the character deaths in the final book. A lot of people died, to be sure, but it really gave the proceedings a "war of attrition" vibe. The good guys really were on the down and out, and death when it came was random and undignified.

I wish there was a vinyl/download set like most indie outfits do nowadays. If you're gonna have physical media, why would it be CD?

@vinod1978: It's basically the same service as Yelp, except with a recommendation engine on top- there are still reviews from actual people.

@Pirandello: Yeah, at this point all they're doing is keeping me from going to their site to cancel, not actually log in. Why bother? It's the same fucked up game for the moment. Hopefully they do keep it free up until their changes take place- then I might hop back in.
