@QLAB: It continues to whip the llama's ass.

@Bant: Electric Burger: Yeah! The way they were tapping the screen, guessing at where the buttons would be- kinda weird, right?

I love Linux's repo-managers. This seems different, and worse somehow. Auto-updating sounds peculiar too- What if I'm running a particular version of Ruby for a reason? It seems like there could be a way to make it, much like OSX, both easy to use AND powerful.

@NeƶStarr: Seriously. Also, have they forgotten that it's one guy?

People have some weird ideas about privacy. Is it that they have to confront that once they're outside people can see them?

@RawheaD: It was just a witticism used to play off the crack quip.

Movies, Music, Documents... Chopping wood. This is all one product. The MacBook Air.

@RawheaD: Not much for crack, myself. How's the kool-aid?

@Tetsuooooooo: Guess I'll have to see it- 11 inches is too closely related to the 10-inch Dell Mini in my mind.

@helfrez: I agree- even with the BIOS taking it's sweet time it's from power button to Chrome homepage in around 45 seconds. Power Button to My Documents in around 20 seconds.

@Tetsuooooooo: At 11 inches it's not going to be much of a "full" keyboard.

@Yahweh Took My Prepuce: It's interesting, but not a wholly constructive type of change, taking the flash out of it's enclosure. I'm sure it's fast and it makes the whole thing nice and small, but... First the battery, and now the hard drive? Not sure I like these abstractions.

@Ghostnappa9001: I know! How is it different at all? Quicktime has had trouble with fullscreen over the years, but come on guys!

I might be wrong, but at the iPad announcement weren't they trash talking netbooks? What the hell does that make this?

@NaraVara: Exactly. So long as you can bust out some bash-fu, all is right with the world.

And now an obvious joke.

@Celtic1888: I'm sure they wouldn't be so daft- the whole reason OSX is so great is that it combines beauty with power. That said, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about trying to be more like an iPad.
