It’s the best way to deal with the nonsense. Lack of publicity and media and social media engagement makes these “controversies” become irrelevant.

My take is he is clearly having a midlife crisis and they’re both desperate for fame, even of the reality show real housewives variety. The entire conversation was ridiculous and jumped around from legal and religious to cultural arguments, most of which were not factual.
He’s a 4-time Tony nominee and huge Broadway star. Portraying another man who was discovered by Broadway legends Rodgers and Hart seems pretty appropriate.
Her plastic surgeon is...not great.
I had always heard from some friends who work in the industry that Gyllenhaal was privately bi, although he’s been “publicly” linked only to women.
My parents have been married 44 years and they do this as well, though not necessarily #2, just sit on the toilet and talk to the other one with the door open. If I go home to visit, I sometime walk by and am like “WTF” because they forget there’s someone else in the house.
I saw the original cast on Broadway and loved it. I’m sad/mad they cut some of my favorite songs but otherwise look forward to seeing it.
Eh, the military refused to share alternative intelligence about how weak Afghan forces were. Despite everything, the evacuation actually went quite smoothly, aside from the suicide bomber, but that was really an example or why we needed to leave Afghanistan. Many American citizens are stupid. Look at covid. Despite…
Honestly, it’s a miracle Anderson Cooper turned out as levelheaded and “normal” as he did. Not only did he have to contend with his father’s early death and his brother’s suicide, but his mother is not only an heiress but she’s distinctively “eccentric” as is the nice term for rich people who are just absolutely…
Yes, despite the botched intelligence to the collapse of the Afghan National forces, being able to secure and remove over 80,000 people in such a short period of time is truly remarkable.
I don’t understand your point. The networks fail to produce creative and captivating programming and likewise, they are failing to win Emmys. The Emmy hauls all went to streaming services. That’s why I listed the number of wins by platform, to show that the networks are barely winning Emmys and the “new” digital…
What do you mean? She just wrote a completely different article about the Emmys today, concluding “Congrats to all the winners, most of whom were on the shows Ted Lasso or The Crown.”
What are you talking about? None of the networks were anywhere near the top of the list for wins. CBS, which hosted the show, received 0 Emmys.
The point of making wills public was to establish a public record so those who may have an interest could see what the assets are and how they were distributed. Therefore survivors couldn’t lie to creditors that there wasn’t any money, long-lost relatives could come forward to claim their rightful share, etc. How can…
All the influencers piling on is whatever, but as another commenter said, I think this case plays to our anger and bafflement.
I’m wondering if the attention about Octavia Spencer’s prenup comment didn’t actually sit as well with Britney as she claims.
It’s true. Kids learn how to work a phone before they can even speak. So many children don’t know what to “do” (aka how to exist) if they’re being asked to spend their time without electronics.
Yeah, it’s definitely a work/service dog and not there for pets and critiques.
Completely agree. 9/11 was literally one of the few attacks on U.S. soil by a foreign threat. Much like after Pearl Harbor, everyone rallied around the flag and patriotism. It was an act of war, albeit not in the traditional “foreign governmental power is attacking” sense. The 2001 response is very distinct from the…
Yes but the gars = girl is an archaic form of the language. The modern connotation has been around for several centuries. It’s just strange, but I’m hypersensitive to the issue trying to come up with a name for an impending baby that works in two languages and cultures.
