Serena. My grandmother and I always talked about going to see her play when I was in HS (and on the varsity tennis team), but she got sick and died shortly thereafter. Finally, 20 years later, I’ll get a chance to see her in memory of my grandma.

I saw this live and I gasped, although the commentators had a much harsher criticism than I. Listen, this lady can do whatever she’s wants but I will not be condoning this type of behavior when I attend the tournament later this week. 

Ah, just got tickets to see the women’s semifinals and men’s semifinals at U.S. Open. I’m so excited. I’ve wanted to go since I was 10 (that’s 23 years!!!). If I can see Serena and/or Rafa/Federer, my life will be complete (momentarily).
