Only 50K miles, so it has a long life ahead of it. Another 2 engines will be needed to reach 80K miles, and 2 more to reach 100K miles

True, but then the advertised rates for new cars at dealerships are around 2.5% APR so is still higher.

Depends. You gotta remember that ‘Franchise Dealer’ transactions get the lowest APR rates, but then, it goes up. If you buy from an independent dealer, your rate goes up. If you get a car loan to pay a private party, no matter what, rates are usually 2x the Franchise transaction, despite good credit. And if you want

Throwing an epic fit as usual: WHERE THE FUCK IS SAAB? This inventory listed Isuzus and Yugos on its own and somehow Saab doesnt get their own count??? C’mon now.

How about the Schlongwagen? Same tech, but seats in the back!

For a first time event it really went well. Well organized. Could’ve used more food variety. Tacos and Sausage were the choices. At least they had plenty of good wines and coffee

Hmmm. Looks like a Civic hatchback mated with an old Genesis Coupe.

Here was my contribution to Radwood last weekend: 1985 Saab 900S 8-valve, Notchback restoration. A rare Saab bodystyle in the US. Not bad for a car with 340K miles under its belt. All works, including AC and 30 year old OEM Saab/Thule roof rack! I had a great time at Radwood.  Go there if you have the chance.

Thou dost not know what you speak, my friend!

Uh...lovely car but reliability is not great at all, and good luck finding the unobtainium parts to keep it going. Misfires, oil leaks, Supercharger blows up, EGR valve clogging. This is the proud Grandpa of the RX-8, and it shows.

Now playing

Let’s not forget he sings the BEST SCI-FI SHOW THEME SONG EVER:

LOL - if all 6 survived the same game,  the gun was empty then, no? Still, the Phaeton is the VW car with the least amount of Recalls in the USA vs all models of the same vintage. So that’s another data point.

Yeah. No fuel pump issues. (is a completely different pump)

With 14 years of ownership of 2 VW Phaetons (both V8s), I can totally say the VW Phaeton’s reliability infamy is more myth than true:
