At the time, Penn insisted “Pappy Pariah” was a real person...
No. Rife was flogging a case that had been confirmed to have been a different comedian entirely. There being completely separate allegations is nothing but her getting lucky, like a cop getting caught planting drugs on a suspect and hoping to get off because because the guy was wanted for shoplifting.
Katie’s reporting on this was total dogshit. It consistently misrepresented events and statements and never corrected them.
Apologize for what? The original articles are still inaccurate, it’s like saying it’s okay for a cop to lie on the witness stand if he knows for a fact that a defendant is guilty.
Uh, there were no allegations (not even anonymous ones) on record and Kirkman denied her article was about LCK. And the origin of the story appeared to be a Gawker article.
Well, that’s it for Louis I guess. Man I was really kind of hoping he would turn out to not be a creep.
So this is heating up? That sucks. I thought the initial quasi-allegation was more or less retracted. I want this guy to not be a scumbag. I don’t mind if he’s a weirdo and non-saint, but if he’s one of these serial creepers I’ll feel that as a loss. I’ll accept it and won’t defend him, but I’ll be sad.
My parents had a Halloween wedding, so they’ve been throwing anniversary parties every five years or so forever. For their 30th, I decided to go in drag as my dad. He’s a scruffy biker-type, so I had an old ALF shirt of his (which is a permanent piece of my wardrobe anyway), a penciled-in beard with some clever…
White Lando to my buddy’s Black Han.
You expect me to read this comment? It’s like, five fucking paragraphs.
I’d love to see this movie in a theater, but 3 hours is a large portion of my day. Grrr. I’m a big Blade Runner fan, too. Are they wondering why this film didn’t have a huge record setting first weekend? Look at the length of the film. Some of my friends saw it. What was their first impression? “Long”. Film Editors…
I know there’s no good solution, but it’s pretty jarring to see a obituary filed under “Comedy.”
I agree. Those complaining that Rick was too God-like this season...Beth’s freakout WAS his comeuppance. I think he was telling the truth, that she wasn’t a clone, because I don’t think he would have given the clone the memory of that conversation. Unless that is a limitation of his abilities, in which case, it works…
The whole government thing with the president seemed like it would have worked a bit better last year. Granted it’s not their fault, no one saw trump coming, but some of the writing falters more than if literally anyone else had been elected.
Ooh! CAAAAAAN DOOOOOOO!
If I never have to hear a meeseeks talk again I’ll be very happy
See, this is what I wanted “ABCs of Beth” to be—even though I love the episode, and it’s heart-on-sleeve climax. This, however, feels far more graceful. Rick can’t outrun the people he shackles himself to, which is why he can go Tom and Jerry on the president. He doesn’t care about the president, but even if he can’t…
“Only intellectual posts is tolerated. People with the intelligence of Rick do not concern themselves with petty issues.”
We’re all alone.
