Yeah, this is dumb.

Brexit, especially a hard Brexit, is a bigger deal for Britain than Trump is for America

The current executive branch may be hostile to climate change prevention, but for the US as a whole, carbon emissions are way down since peaking 15 years ago

I mean, I get that, that it was a bio, but the most important aspect of his life to the broader audience watching took less time in the movie than the extended moment of silence between him and his wife while he was in quarantine

I would highly recommend the movie/documentary “Apollo 11", which takes remastered footage from the two week period of the mission and cuts it in a way that is pretty riveting and pleasing (the director is the same guy who directed Apollo 13)

I rewatched the full run recently and Garak was criminally underused (or maybe that was just showmanship leaving me wanting more, but he was really great)

“I’m glad I never had kids, good luck out there” is a troll statement itself, so it got the proportionate response.

I’m pretty surprised they didn’t retire Rudi Johnson’s number. I mean this is the Bengals we’re talking about

I mean, she is a moron with a repugnant worldview, but Trump’s attacks debase arguments against the substance of her (dumb) advocacy

This same thing happened to me with United in 2012. It’s so aggravating. Non-refundable itineraries should never be cancelled just because you missed a leg.

Income from Wall St. is already taxed at like 40% and was around 45% pretty recently

You should not get prison time for words texted to your boyfriend

You were being manipulate and held hostage by someone trying to hold you accountable for their own emotional state. This case is an extreme example but sets a horrible precedent for allowing said manipulation to occur wholesale.

Well the adult human agent who made the decision to kill himself was the boyfriend, not her. It sets a bad precedent that different people should be held criminally accountable for the actions of others—actions that they have no agency over—based on words exchanged over text.

You talk about training and regimens and academy systems and all that, but something more fundamental is afoot w/r/t the quality of athlete involved.

In order for him to have even been called out, there had to be intent, that Marisnick would have to have “intentionally initiated an avoidable collision”

*OK, where are catchers supposed to be?*

Well he didn’t try to crush him to break up a tag.

Lucroy did not have the ball though

How exactly are you supposed to initiate a slide that ends up at home plate when the catcher is three or four feet into the basepath in front of home plate, baseball not-in-hand?
