The best part about Southwest’s policy is that people will therefore check rolling carry-ons, meaning that bin space will almost always be available and boarding takes less time

UT really? That place is just to the left of Saul Alinsky
The Eckstein comparison is absurd—he’s much more like Craig Biggio or Ichiro
Also, not to homer too much for Altuve, but a lot of Judge’s WAR came from very late in the season when the playoff spots and seeds were locked up. Jose was leading by most straight up offensive metrics until about a week ago, and he’s been benched for most of the mathematically meaningless last week.
Are those WAR metrics position weighted? i.e. would Jose’s wins added be above a replacement level 2B? I know wRC+ isn’t position-weighted.
This is pretty unfair to Hank Hill
I think you’re just looking for a reason to complain because you’re paid to do it
I met Brandon Backe at a party this year!
He’s already answered all of those questions pretty exhaustively in his many, many baseball abstracts, including his very lengthy millennial abstract (except about Jeff Bagwell)
I love Nolan, but I’m willing to bet his BB ranking in each of those years was the same
It’s good to have them aboard
Has the man with the two foot dong objected? Or is everyone just speaking for him?
2004 National Champions: LSU
That’s because the #1 team of all time also played that year
Okay, I was watching this broadcast and many other broadcasts with Geoff Blum.
Look as a Texans fan, I’m all for signing Kaep. It would be kind of fun seeing him get hit 12 times a quarter.
I’m sorry, but you’re not going to beat the Camptown Races guy
What if he has an amazing end of Sept and has, cumulatively, 74 home runs by the end of the season. What then, smart guy?!
Houstonian here—I have been bored out of my mind with cabin fever and looking forward to this post—thank you for going through with it.
