I saw this earlier today and it gave me my single biggest (non-hysterical) laugh of this cycle.

They were indeed outrageously overcharging before. For some stupid reason the contract with CCA had the Feds paying them as if the facility was 100% full, regardless of whether it actually was full. It was never 100% full.

I think you’re on to something there. Curry’s Frank N. Furter was outrageously self-satirising, whereas Cox takes her gender and its presentation quite seriously– on levels both personal and political. As such I am curious to see if and how she re-conceives the role for our era.
