Yeah, but it's the last season of a 10-episode per season series. She couldn't prioritize? Shoot, she could do it even if she was pregnant or had a new baby at home. My guess is the showrunners didn't have anything left for her to do because she has her shit together already.

Adam and Hannah were awful together. I really hope the show doesn't end with them back together.

That's what I heard, I rest my case. Which makes sense in context.

I bet you're right. She looks like she's dying, which seems deliberate. It would be awful for that to be her last conversation with Jessa and find out she killed herself or had some terminal illness. Though Hannah definitely has the right to hate Jessa right now.

I did! That's so funny you felt it too. I guess that would be too deep to get into with only a few episodes left to resolve the lives of the main characters. I don't care enough about Desi to see an episode wasted on his death.

That would be a terrible thing to do. There is no way that ends with Hannah and Jesse still being friends. Hannah would feel betrayed no matter what. The decision for Jesse is does she like Adam enough to ruin a friendship for him? Her choice is to suppress her feelings for Adam and keep both as friends, or follow

Personally, I'd rather she got more this season than any more time with Marnie. Ugh! She's annoying, and worse, her story arc is boring.

Well, I hope they're not going to end this with Hannah and Adam back together. Have we come full circle, where Adam has to save Hannah again? That is not the direction I want this to go. Hopefully I completely misread that final scene.

Rent control.

A lot of young selfish people make good parents. Nothing cures selfishness like having a child. There are also a lot of bad parents, but I have a feeling Hannah would make a decent mom (there are no perfect moms).

All his short stories are wonderful. His essays in The Braindead Megaphone are also very good. I really like that one.

Except they've already shown a character having an abortion with no thought to it later. But this is Hannah, and she has to think things through. I hope she keeps it just because it's the unexpected thing to do. There's only a few more episodes left, so it's not like we have to watch Hannah raise the child.

It would be out of character for Lena, but not Hannah.

I don't get hate-watching. I don't have enough time to watch all the shows I want to watch, much less waste it on something I hate.

The obvious thing would be for Hannah to have the abortion, considering Lena's activism. But I think Hannah just may decide to keep the baby. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

Ray isn't the problem. Marnie is. She sounded robotic, and seemed to be totally faking it. Does Ray know about Marnie's affair? It seemed like he was hoping she would fess up. Why not just confront her?

That's what I thought the moment the recap reminded me of it.

Thank you very much for replying in a friendly and mature fashion. I really appreciate it from the AV Club crowd since it's pretty rare in my experience.

We didn't have cell phones. They may have existed, but there was little service and the cost was something like $7.00 a minute. No way did the average adult, much less teenager, have a cell phone.

I think you may need to look at how they come up with those figures too. There are many factors contributing to it. Of course there are going to be cases where women doing the same job are paid less than men, and most of the time it's due to experience and other factors. Just look at the figures on the pay
