There's certainly some weird line blurring with these cons when you have fairly mainstream actors like Gillian Anderson and Jeremey Renner now making appearances. It used to be an indicator of desperation but now even those with recent credible resumes are cashing in.

I'm kinda surprised Grint is doing cons. He made a fortune on the Potter films and charging what he is just looks tacky considering most of his fan base is probably under 25 and can barely afford it.

I miss the days of the officially licensed Star Trek cons in the early 90's. Most big cities got one or two visits a year at a fairly reasonable price of around $25-30. They'd bring in one star and you'd get a autograph as part of that price and they'd typically do a meet and greet. I got a few autographs this way and

$1 billion worldwide of impending failure - not counting licensing or home video!

I've never found actual nerdy people who watch Big Bang Theory.

Letterman and Leno.

His Brooklyn accent is laughable and later voice as The Thing is a complete mismatch to the character design.

I certainly don't agree with Hogan's words on the tape, but his violation of privacy by Gawker is reprehensible. I hope he takes them to the cleaners.

Bret Hart was the longest running WWE champion from 1984 to 1997 now.

Wasn't Jeff Bridges supposed to be intentionally off a bit? I got that impression since he's not the real Flynn and just a program / recreation.

Considering the setup done in the first Antman, they could easily make the second an ensemble akin to The Winter Soldier where one hero gets top billing but you really have 3-4 of the Avengers showing up in major roles and are focal parts of the marketing.

The neighborhood Enterprise Rent a Horse only had the one steed left.

To be fair, Depp's role probably took all of 30 minutes to film if anything. Maybe he just happened to be at a game the night they were filming?

Fox could probably just scour YouTube for people doing impressions of the characters and hire them individually for 1/100 of Shearer's contract.

Is the return of Law & Order still being planned? Seems like one of the easiest ways to fill a time slot with a reliable show.

I think Sears had a lot better reputation back then when it came to quality. You're not going to want a suit from there, but some dress shirts and khakis were probably perfectly serviceable in that era.

Maybe it's not so much Don going to die, but his old way of life. He can give up working full time and focus on the kids and his home life the way he never has before as he constantly chased business success.

I'd have to think that Don returns to his senses when he learns of Betty's condition. I can't imagine he would leave his kids with Henry and have them raised primarily by a stepparent - which would be an odd bit of symmetry with his own childhood.

Those "fuzzy 4x3" ones may be locally sold ads cut in by your local cable provider. I had a lot of top tier advertisers (Audi, HP) on my feed in HD.

Considering the McCann sets are only being used for like 3-4 episodes, there probably wasn't a big push to do anything great. I wouldn't be surprised if it was just something the studio pulled out of mothballs and re-purposed.
