Paramount / Viacom only has the film rights to Star Trek. CBS retained the TV rights when the company split into two a few years back.
Considering CBS has the TV rights to Star Trek and the recent surge in revivals of old shows, I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't at least an idea for a short term Next Gen revival for CBS or a streaming service. I'd have to imagine even a quick revival with 5-10 episodes would be a big hit for any network.
So basically the plot from the first Arkham Asylum game?
Why is the clerk from my local Hot Topic playing the Joker?
Back during season three, there was talk of Glee splitting into two shows with the original continuing on with Mr. Schu and the remaining New Directions while Rachel / Finn / Kurt headline an NYC based show.
My memory may be hazy but I could swear we saw her home in season one when Quinn briefly moves in with her.
She did make amends with Will and the team back in like season two by arranging their transportation to nationals.
The MySpace gags might be a callback to Fox once having profiles for each of the characters that would add a bit to storylines circa season one. It was a quickly abandoned idea once Facebook / Twitter became the more popular social networks.
Naya Rivera alone probably has enough to fill a book.
I think it helps that the daughters of Depp and Smith seem to be like BFFs or something.
Advance screenings will be on the night of the 25th if it makes you feel better.
Favorite WDW drinking spots from a semi-regular:
For someone who had one of the most discussed moments of the last season, he was really relegated to the sidelines this year.
Has the series ever established where it separates from actual history into its own continuity? I know it makes mention of Reagan this season, but obviously more modern presidents don't seem to exist.
The past few first ladies have all had their own projects generally dealing with family or women's issues. It's odd they didn't just give Claire something along those lines and then have it dovetail into human rights issues with Russia. It would have worked in a bit more plausible manor.
The original novels / British miniseries have Francis as a conservative which seems to carry through here despite his party affiliation.
The draw is Joker / Harley Quinn. They should save his fee and just cast like Jason Statham for 1/20 the price.
It probably helps when some recognizable faces are seemingly working for scale / back end points.
Reminds me of the two very different trailers I've seen for The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. One focuses almost entirely on the veteran British cast and Richard Gere and the other is mostly about Dev Patel and makes it appear to be a Bollywood romantic comedy.
