I wish with the switch to digital that theaters would vary up the selections a bit. You can have 2-3 showings of a family film during the day before showing Oscar season fare for the final showing or two. It's not like many people are going to see Annie in a 9 or 10pm starting time.

So I'm gonnna assume the top ten is comprised of The Simpsons (Monorail or B-Sharps episode), Seinfeld (Soup Nazi), Friends (pick a Thanksgiving), 30 Rock (too many options), The Office (Dinner Party or The Injury), Curb Your Enthusiasm, Party Down, Community (Modern Warfare or Cooperative Calligraphy), Frasier, and

I was just thinking the other day that I'd love The Simpsons Tapped Out to add Gerald Ford, George Bush, and Barbara Bush for President's Day.

I don't think I'd necessarily call all of these characters obscure - minor perhaps - but not obscure.

I'd imagine they probably are still pulling from the same dancer pool. That or she's a 3rd year senior.

Why exactly did they dump that storyline for Sam?

This is one of the things that slowly hurt the show over time as it slid from a semi-realistic show in season one to cartoonish nightmare that had an elastic continuity and reality that never quite made sense.

Realistically, they should have just abandoned McKinley / Lima after season three and followed Rachel and Kurt to New York full time with Finn and Blaine joining them eventually.

McCarthy being involved basically turns me off from ever seeing this project.

Is Fey / Poehler / Wiig / Aisha Tyler too easy a casting choice that they have to go elsewhere?

That reel has me constantly thinking about wide shot construction nowadays whenever I see period films. When I saw Big Eyes last week, I was trying to figure out how much of '50s San Francisco was actual sets and how much was digital wizardry.

Forrest Gump also had the fairly impressive for the time Lt. Dan leg effects.

They are just starting to rev up the House of Cards hype machine so I don't think they'll start doing anything extensive with Daredevil until March.

The ratings have been stable plus the show serves other purposes in that it keeps the MCU around as a talking point between the tent pole releases. It's also produced in house so ABC / Disney / Marvel get to profit directly from the show's residuals.

Doubt was based on a stage play so it should be adapted.

Galavant looks like a total mess - also hello fellow BoDer!

Yeah, Death of a President. It's presented as a pseudo-documentary and think the only recognizable actor is the mom from Freaks & Geeks as one of his advisors.

Is this the most disastrous film for a major studio since Heaven's Gate?

I rented this since I really enjoy Roberts & Peters on AHS, but this was pretty poor.

So is this not showing in 48fps? Cause I'd be thankful if that's the case.
