That was better than the 5-lug, twin-3 spokes of the SN95. Possibly the most boring wheel Ford ever put on a Mustang.

I will congratulate the seller if he does sell this POS of a car. This is one of the many reasons cars sucked in the 70's and into the 80's. It’s slow, ugly and I can just imagine they way it wallows in the corners.
Actually, even small and mostly rural areas like Yucca Mountain have enough clout to block waste storage, and most of it is just stored on site at the plants.
Damned straight.
Agree, and just put my $$$ where my mouth is and bought a new Volvo V60
BMW’s future styling direction is genuinely abysmal - on track to be the worst in the U.S. market within this decade, and the sole thing that will keep the company afloat is brand recognition (because it sure as shit isn’t going to be reliability or heat seaters that require a fucking subscription).
All things being equal, winter tires will perform better than all-season tires in wintry conditions.
Manual transmissions are overrated for daily driving.
Station wagons are better than SUV’s.
“We’ve been trying to reach you about your car’s extended warranty.”
Look, it could be worse. A LOT worse. - Signed everyone that was a kid in the 80s.
Thankfully, it’s not BMW 3-series so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
I’ve been on them a number of times. Of course like gondolas at ski areas, they do occasionally have to be shut down due to wind but the storms that produce heavy winds are usually short. My wife has family who live in Pajerito. Without the gondola system it would take my wife’s cousin more than 2 hours to get to her…
Looking at that last photo, I think the builder used an analog tire pressure gauge, looks off by about 1.5psi. Could be a problem.
Yeah those are also like total 8KM of lines. I think the longest one is 3KM. They are specifically to get over the hills and cut down the commute from rual areas to the city. It shaves off like 2.5 hours of commute time as opposed to riding the bus around the hills. Including the 45 minute queues to get on them. This…
For a mountain area, it’s actually a pretty good idea but to cover a flat surface in a very crowded city, it’s kinda dumb. That thing is sure to break all the time.
“Oh and not to mention people are not going to ride this thing in the middle of winter.”
That price works out to $32 million per km, or $53 million per mile. This is significantly less than the $200 to $500 million average per mile for European subway construction:
It’s better than Tesla sedans in a tunnel driven by a human, that’s for sure.
I am John from the video! Just have to say how incredibly psyched I am to be featured on Jalopnik. Couldn’t have imagined a more creative way for that to happen....
