The first similar car that comes to mind that had the same completeness to its all-new-ness was when the R35 GT-R came out over a decade ago. That was a monster killer at the time with its crazy low starting price (that didn’t last long) that was already higher than the C8 will be over a decade later!

This is jedi-level Volvo knowledge. I’ve seen this raw strength only once before. It didn’t scare me enough then. It does now. 

GenXers are getting in their 40's right now, many are gainfully employed, and hence why cars like the E30 M3, Integra Type R, and Supra have EXPLODED in value.  This is absolutely the market they want to be in.

But also, don’t bank too much on a customer base that’s aging out/dying off. Or you’ll actually end up like Harely Davidson.

we need elderly retesting, but we also need retesting for everyone. Even if its only every 10 years. You should have to complete an online course before renewing your license at the very minimum. Maybe retrain on right of ways or how to merge and pass on the highway
