Every keyless entry fob I have ever seen has had a physical key built in. Even for cars that don’t use one for starting the car. This Tesla is the first time I ever heard of omitting it.

I really wish they had just built down the I-5 median too but there almost certainly has to be a legitimate reason why they didn’t. My guess would be that they would have to build the entire thing elevated so it wouldn’t interfere with highway crossings.

The problem with startups is that they are generally run by people with nearly pathological optimism. On one hand you kinda need that to convince people to invest billions in something that starts out as vaporware, but eventually people get impatient waiting for the pie-in-the-sky results they were promised.

Not in CA. Here it usually averages around the same price as midgrade.
