What is so hard about putting a pressure sensor in the seat?

I would guess quite a few. Not many of these floating around yet.

It is convenient and it allows me to keep a tire plug kit in the car rather than use the spare since most punctures are fixable. The downside is when you really need the spare, it is a collapsible rather than full size.

The A4 cabrio did too. I wish every car had this.

A ton of cars have this now. The last couple I’ve owned do this when you throw the car in reverse (but only when the mirror adjustment toggle is set to passenger).

This is actually very common now, particularly for German cars that use collapsible spare tires. 

A lot of cars actually have this in the form of a little AC vent in the glove box.

Whatever it is, needs to be cheap, slow, safe, FWD, and have few seats (you really don’t want a new driver taking more lives into his/her hands than absolutely necessary).

I would imagine people who want to look at the views rather than the road. That being said, people should be getting out of the fucking car to experience nature.
