You definitely have a point there. I only know it’s a Duc because they tell me it is. But instead of hanging on to outdated engineering just for aesthetics, they need to develop a design better language so the their bikes “look” like Ducatis.

How long is useful? Most trucks don’t have an 8' bed anymore so if you want to haul sheets of plywood you need to drop the gate down anyway.

Rivian definitely trying for lifestyle over workhorse so it will never make sense as a work truck and they never intended it to be one. That being said it would be enough for my needs and certainly more capable than a Ridgeline. It’ll tow 11,000 lbs while a top spec Ridgeline (or the new Santa Cruz) can barely do…
