F1 seriously needs to join the 21st century and start using lower profile wheel/tire setups like the rest of the racing world.
This price is in line with other examples I am seeing, but those other examples were at least cleaned first.
I think he was being sarcastic.
Unless there is air suspension I am sure you can just order factory springs out of Europe. You can do that with the Audi A4 Allroad. All the other suspension components are the same as the standard Avant.
NO!! The Volvo V60 Recharge is on my short list of replacement vehicles but I’m not due to buy a new car for another year or so.
I don’t doubt it. That freeze really screwed you guys over and it sounds like there is a lot more to do in protecting the grid where you are, but he OP was complaining about CA.
I suspect they hit an engineering dead end with the EV XJ, or some incompatible improvement in EV tech came along that would have made the XJ obsolete upon its release. So instead of wasting more money trying to make it work, they are starting over with a new platform.
Rolling blackouts happening for the 1st time in 20 years is not that big a deal. It was a historic heat wave and the grid is getting bigger by the day.
“why get a $60k Polestar 2 when you can get a $38k Model 3 with the same specs.”
If you are going to do a currency conversion in an article, please remember to take VAT out. Every other comment on here is going to be about how $57,500 is ridiculous, when the real price as quoted in the US would be closer $46,575.
Valid point. I suppose low sales volumes for convertibles has a lot to do with that as well.
I’ll bet most convertible usage is short trips anyhow.
It doesn’t get more boutique than a Vanderhall (I actually had the Edison in mind when I excepted boutique marques). Also without the ability to put the roof up it doesn’t even really “convert”. I think you can probably put a panel over your head like a golf cart but that’s not really the same thing as a convertible…
Those frame rails disqualify it as a convertible in my opinion.
Oh I’m sure top down cruising at speed reduces range, but I would imagine if you have a convertible like this, it’s not your only car anyway.
I’m honestly surprised there aren’t any convertiblele EVs already (outside of something by some random boutique marque). Something like an electric ?Mercedes SL or E-class cabriolet would make sense. I guess technically the electric Wrangler and Hummer will count, but there should really be something else out there.
Wait till they find out groups of people have had chiefs all over the world.
Fair point, but it’s not a native american term. I guess in the end if people are going to be upset about it, it’s probably not a good choice, even if the word doesn’t reference native peoples.
