When I buy a new car I almost always order it. I also keep cars a long time so, whats a 4 month wait matter when I’ll keep it for 10 years?

GM said Wednesday that it would be partnering with truckmaker Navistar to make hydrogen fuel-cell-powered semi-trucksEvery investor in Nikola is fuming right now.

Yeah it is definitely a short term move but what I find puzzling is that calls were already over $120 in the money so the options were very expensive. I get wanting full delta on the move but why not just buy the stock at that point?

Let’s hope they get back to doing this with the color options:

Well, at least for one year they weren’t limited:

Given Biden has aggressively campaigned on taking big action on climate change I don’t think this is a big deal. Everyone knows EVs are a part of getting off of fossil fuel. And let’s be real. Pelosi (or rather her investment advisor) is really late to the Tesla party.

Given that Biden has campaigned on taking aggressive action on climate change, I don’t think it matters when he announced the EV initiative.

There is no inside info here. If anything she (or rather her investment advisor) is very late to the party.

Still, the name is a bit of a gut punch.

The irony of the name of the transport company is thick enough to cut with knife.

^THIS^

Well, if they can do it for GameStop...

They have certainly declared their intention to.

That is starting to change with the home battery. With all the wild fire power safety shutoffs in CA there is significant demand for the Powerwall and Tesla has been raising the price on those accordingly.

They have more demand than they can meet with the consumer market as it is.

I think in this case the order would affect non-combat vehicles used by the military, like all the trucks and cars that putter around domestic bases.

Though it isn’t specified I suspect they are excluding military vehicles used in combat roles.

Nope. Makes sense tom me:

It looks like you are trying to drive. Would you like help?

Since the world is going to start transitioning to EVs (which are heavier than ICE counterparts and thus harder on roads), perhaps they should replace the gas tax with a national vehicle registration fee.
