I would think in a positive way though. Correct me if I’m wrong but I would think removing excess weight in the back would improve weight distribution and probably helps with the transitional oversteer old 911s are know for.

I found a similarly heavy weight in the back of my e30 conv. Removing it made absolutely do difference in comfort, and it allowed for relocating the battery to the trunk without sacrificing cargo space.
