Season 2 may not be quite up to Season 1, but these reviews are reminding me of how very, very good most of it was.

I didn't like it, in the context of larger things about Season 6 I didn't like.

I'm surprised by how well their hooking up has worked out for both characters, but I've really liked how it's played. I hope it's not over-over, but if they're giving it a rest for awhile I'll be glad enough.

Oh man, I haven't seen Grinch Night in decades. I had How the Grinch Stole Christmas on VHS tape, but the Halloween special was something I was half-convinced was a fever dream.

This is what makes me hesitate on getting it now. I got Civ 5 fairly close to its release date, and I dislike ponying up for DLC. Civ 4 is still the one I play the most, and it's in large part because I got a bundle with all the expansions and feel like I've got the 'whole' game.

Order of the Phoenix felt right to me, in that it felt like the story of a 15-year-old boy at an extremely emo period in his life.

It's the kind of show that, while I'm stunned its still on and that I no longer watch new seasons regularly, I'm glad it's churning out new episodes. Become some days, you just want to watch three random episodes of "Supernatural" in a run, and at this rate I'll never run out as it gradually makes its way to my

I wax and wane on latter-day "South Park," but I'm digging this season so far, and this episode was another hit for me.

Supposedly the writers actually tried to get him back for a season 6 episode, but his hatred of Hawaii or whatever it is he hated on the set was still strong and he said, 'No.'

I distinctly remember squealing with glee at Bernard on the radio. So so great.

While I didn't read through every comment (and so might have missed some justifications for it), is this the only one of these columns where no one has defended the song? (rightfully, imo, it is terrible and John Mayer should feel bad about making it exist) I usually roll my eyes and go, 'Christ, it's pop music,' but

It was less about 'Breaking Bad' to me, as that 'Breaking Bad' was the last of show I LOVED. There was a point a few years ago where I was enjoying the end of 'The Wire,' watching 'Friday Night Lights,' 'Lost' and 'Battlestar Galactica' as beloved, established parts of my week, and getting into 'Breaking Bad.'

I keep meaning to track that down. I love Lauren Graham on 'Parenthood,' and Sepinwall claims the Graham version of the pilot is a good deal better (less because of Maura Tierney than because it provided an opportunity to reshoot and tighten up other elements with entirely different characters, add more humor, etc.).

I've also only seen it here and find it weird. It seems somewhat misapplied as a catch-all for romantic infatuation, and B99 isn't popular enough to be coining nomenclature terms (as much as I like it).

I really liked what they did with the Zarek character, in conception and early execution, at least. It could've been a guest star gimmick with "The First Apollo," but they made him into something entirely new.

Hearing Hugh Dancy's real voice in interviews always takes me aback, even though I'm intellectually aware he's British.

I'm not sure I can accept a Dracula story that doesn't center on alternative energy machinations.

While this is true on a micro level, on a macro level I feel like this sort of thing is quite dismissive of early civilizations that made actual strides in mathematics, arts, and what we consider "modern" culture, and the Ottomans certainly deserve as much credit for that as the Romans.

I'm still on the fence about a next-gen console. I will probably eventually buy a PS4, but the Wii-U has a lot of aspects that I really like. The backwards compatibility is the obvious one (I do not understand why the other companies didn't make this a priority. I understand there are hardware reasons it's not as

There were several books written in the "Myst" world (which, yes, I was enough of a dork to read when I was a kid). They don't really lend themselves to a TV adaptation, either, but they at least provide some idea of how it might be done.
