It’s actually not entirely non-sequitur, it’s trying to say that, “because you are in the period of your life in which you are growing up”. I imagine the japanese version says something like “Shishunki dakara”, which means “because of puberty”, as in “you put on some weight because you are growing up/maturing”.…
Well, good to see they actually see the problem now, selling very expensive console, no matter how good it is, is going to cut your audience significantly, specially if you hope to sell it to kids.
It’s a game about zombies, you can’t really go any safer than that...
What did you expect? It’s a kids show about fighting aliens. Seems to me like it’s just cop-out of having to explain childbirth to 10-yeards.
The problem with grandiose one word names is that they don’t really work with sequels...
I tell you, she’s fine!
I don’t think you are tackling this from the right angle, if a kid is bored, no amount of game design expertise is going to hold their attention, and nothing drives a kid away faster than realizing the game is patronizingly taking care of them. They might ask a parent or a sibling for help, because they trust that…
Fair enough, but I will say they are a little overestimated in my opinion.
This is a very interesting question, as an aspiring game designer myself. But to start off, let me just get this out of my chest:
The guy’s voice sounds like he’s being operated on without anesthesia, which I guess makes sense since they are going for a “Oh, I’m in pain” kinda scream.
Well, I’d argue that nobody talks because there’s nothing to really talk about, diablo 3, in my experience, was just a bunch mindless grinding, everything was expected, everything fit the pattern, there were no surprises, no twists, nothing, just monotonous grinding, over and over and over and over... the worst part…
I’m preparing an exploration focused character in Dark Souls 3 for when the ringed city hits, with lots of utility and survival focused gear.
Kat’s clothes make no sense....
I’ll be honest, I don’t quite understand sonic games, I never did, it looks like a game that plays itself in front of you, any input from the player will only slow the game down and make sonic look silly, so it’s better to just hold UP and let things happen on their own, with an occasional hit of the jump button to…
“So, should we spend more time, money and valuable resources in:
“crippling wireless network lag”
It actually sounds like a fun mechanic, I wouldn’t mind being punished for not paying attention to the weather before walking into a boss fight, though that wouldn’t apply if it’s completely random... But if there are some sort of signs that the thing is coming, even if subtle, I wouldn’t mind.
Welp, thanks for the info, I’ll try it out.
