I think (considering the general hiplessness of most high fashion models) these must be really poorly executed examples of peplums, because I actually agree with you. Just like low-waisted pants, there are a select few who can wear them successfully, but they tend to be applied with more frequency than wise.

But it is not a statistically common cause of accidents... GPS devices, passengers and eating are all more frequent causes, and those are not gender-specific. I just don't think it's fair to play to the "women be bad drivers" stereotype this way when it's not actually a large chunk of the problem.

I was picking gender neutral things. There's no need for this to be a gendered campaign, is all. I'm sure roughly half of men admit to doing something other than driving while driving too.
