As a frequent disdainer of the human race, I know exactly what Waterbane is for. It’s incredibly useful to non-human casters and/or familiars who can’t touch water. Like, say, anything from the Elemental Plane of Fire. Or a salt golem. Or anything clockwork that might rust.
