So this kid made the cheating software. He then made Youtube videos of himself using the cheats and promoting the site he made to sell the software. Epic tells him to stop. He refuses. Epic bans him and he then proceeds to repeatedly make new accounts with fake emails to circumvent the bans.

It’s been said before, but Overwatch is not a villain here, yet it is continually referenced. Overwatch boxes have no gameplay advantage. You can’t even buy them in-game (on Xbox), and it took months for me to learn they even existed. I like to throw them five bucks during the events in exchange for the hundreds of

This is harmless and kind of funny.

Really... this is your last straw? Not exploitative cash grabs but needing the fucking internet in a world where it is a utility in every way but government classification(at least in the US)? Really?!

Love the RS6 articles. It’s not an esports scene I regularly follow, but it’s fun to watch.

Because people can only care about or advance one cause at a time. And of course, video gaming is the only pastime in existence that people get passionate about. No other hobbyists complain about or critique trends in their hobbies, ever. Oh, and it’s definitely not hypocritical to tell us to stop playing if we don’t

I didn’t say anything about not getting my moneys worth from my play time. I said I was disappointed in what they released and more disappointed in this DLC which seems like a whole lot of nothing.

“just don’t reward the predatory parts of it that ask for additional money.”

Don’t buy the game.

I honestly wish Deadspin would stop cross-posting this stuff from Kotaku just so there wouldn’t be so much useless“Vidja games aren’t sports, NERDS” in the comments.

It’s so much more worthwhile to get a gaming PC rather than an X1X.

I just thought ME:A was boring and I don’t think I’m a snob for having that opinion. I don’t need to compare it to older games to know I’m not having fun with a game.

And it’s a shame because the moment to moment gameplay is so good. It’s fun to play and feels right, but the content is so underwhelming with awful rewards all around.

Don’t worry, I’ve pledged to do something better with my time than play Destiny 2.

Thank God this videogame website keeps me up-to-date on which fictional characters are being depicted in sexual relationships by internet strangers.

That is quite literally untrue, they are modelled on your individual character. Yes they’re the same colour and approximately the same size - obviously? But the minute details are incredibly different. Watch the video posted above.

I wouldn’t. Overwatch is a team-based shooter and coloration is a big part of reading a fight. Blizzard has also kept a lot of themse in the colors. Moira’s “Fade” ability uses the same dark red as Reaper’s teleport (not sure if they’re the exact same shade). Shields are represented by blue, as is energy (Symmetra;

its about graphic recognition. U want to know immediately what an attack is doing. All heals in overwatch are the exact same yellow. It HAS to be that way.

I think you answered your own question: people don’t want to play supports as they are so they have to package them as something else. A single support shouldn’t be carrying a team anyway.
