Here’s the thing, what you’re describing / looking for and what we commonly view as a good RTS are not the same kind of game.

Ultimately, I don’t think it matters why he’s doing it if the end result is more inclusion. We (men) so often complain about the lack of women who also happen to enjoy our hobbies but then make it so hard (whether consciously or not) for newcomers to get into them.
You invalidate whatever cause you believe in.
Having to buy an expensive accessory and keep it charged in order to use basic functionality of a $600+ product is really obnoxious.
I have owned the game with season pass since it released in 2015 on xbone. I also have the $15 on PC (which I just built this year). Do not get the $15 version unless you have A LOT of time to grind. I split my time up between the two systems so I’ve only earned enough renown to buy one or two operators on PC since…
The “least scummy” way would be not to charge at all which is what Destiny 1 did.
Yup. I had a great time playing Destiny, but a couple questionable design decisions mixed with the off-putting moneygrab aspects have made me watch Destiny 2 to see what happens.
I completely agree with you. Destiny is the game that has made it clear to me that Bungie is a developer that I can no longer trust in. My issue with the 1st Destiny is that they locked you out of content that was once available to you. If you didn’t purchase the dlc then you ended up getting locked out of things like…
Here’s the thing, though. Destiny 2 is great.
Eh, good riddance. I have no love for the Olympics. Not with the whole “all countries getting together for good-natured physical competition” part. That part’s great. The “Horribly managed, almost certainly corrupt, economy-ruining” part. That’s the shit part.
It isn’t a linear road. The guy wanted to have a tournament and have cash prizes. So the enable the gamescon crate. There are free crates as well, all cosmetic. It’s life, it’s business. Would you pay for hundreds of thousands of dollars for cash prizes in a tournament out of your pocket? Or give players an option to…
Yeah dude, people definitely pour their time into a video game because they’re told it’s cool not because they enjoy playing it.
PUBG isn’t going anywhere. It’s literally Arma KoTH reborn and there’s still thousands of players playing those games a decade later. It’s something players have been craving for years on a new engine that runs smooth and now it’s here. Bohemia shit the bed and BlueHole is raking in the cash.
Game gets this big and still want to use a broken crate and key system
Meanwhilst, Daybreak realizes they shot themselves in the dick not addressing issues faster.
Just got this game last week after learning about the first person servers. I haven’t gotten any work done since. Pretty soon I’m gonna have to live off chicken dinners. It’s so addicting, and such an amazing social game with friends. Highly recommend it, even with all its bugs!
The craziest stat for me is that PUBG almost doubles it’s peak number of players per month for the past four months.
Also, with all due respect to the creative process, he’s a writer.
The crunch article is really terrible. “Sure crunch is terrible and unnecessary, but I’m damaged enough to enjoy it, therefore it’s okay for everyone to have to endure it, because we’re all soooooo creative, so ultimately they’ll remember how they love working 20 hour days to make my vision come to life.”
Age restrictions are tricky but in leagues the laws get even more difficult - especially in California. I understand your concern because it is legitimate that high dexterity is an absolute must and aging in any capacity will start jeapordizing that.
