I can’t remember if it was a professional review or just someone’s post on a message board, but someone who watched The Hateful Eight said that this movie really does feel like Tarantino’s homage to The Thing. A bunch of folks stuck in one location in the middle of a cold winter and everyone distrusts everyone else.
