I tend to avoid comparisons to sports with Melee, such as “coaching is okay in Melee because it’s in boxing/tennis”. It works here though. Deciding to make the game about degenerate item camping would be the same as randomly giving one boxer a massive advantage over the other.

Are the tight sticks and sticky triggers due to them being “newer” and the eventually they’ll loosen up with more game time? Or do all of them function like that?

First off, isn’t that cheating? Sort of? Not every player has access to a buggy controller unlike a bug in the game. Ideally shouldn’t they be using the same controllers?

I understand if you don’t have a working controller or being hard to come by a GameCube Controller, but that’s not the case here. Thanks to Smash 4, GameCube controllers are incredibly common to find now. There’s no excuse not to get a newer controller and enter the tournament with it.

So I’m gonna copy and paste this from my other comment:

Lmao you have no idea what the fuck you’re talking about.

The inconsistency present in Melee’s top 6 isn’t remotely comparable to the inconsistency in Smash 4.

How so? The game is literally unable to be played competitively on a flat-screen. It was never designed to run on those TVs, so it lags.

That’s a pretty cool testimony. I’ve had something similar happen the last few months. Throughout 7th and 8th grade, I was at odds with Catholicism in a lot of ways. Browsing the internet and learning about religion in general has brought me back to the faith.

Can I just say this has been a really fucking high quality discussion about religion? Like wow, it’s been one of the most respectful, moderate, and straw-man free discussions about it that I have ever seen on a gaming outlet. I understand we live in a time where religion has been doing a lot of harm to a lot of

Really? That’s a strange issue. I grew up Catholic as well, and would like to say I still am one. I am not allowed to receive the Eucharist because I support the rights and equality of LGBT individuals though, sadly.
