Lisa Ling was wayyyy too smart for that show. So articulate, so well-traveled, I mean, she was everything poor Deb was not. But as the show got a little more polarizing (by hiring Elizabeth, Rosie, etc.), someone like Lisa was not going to last. Too normal, too sane.

I think AMC and OLTL were in the same studio.

That whole year with her (who could rarely complete a sentence without losing her train of thought) and Candace (who only seemed to show up when she had some other project - or Jesus - to plug) was a disaster.
