“...but in a hook-up situation, you better fetishize me”

i agree with the sentiment but a lot of non-white girls haven’t seen themselves reflected as princesses which is actually really important...so while this may be tiring for white people for the rest of us it’s still a positive novelty

I feel like Florence + The Machine should be on this playlist...I love them

I feel iffy about this. I really don’t believe equality in imperialism is necessary. Also, I feel like women *do* shoulder a lot of childcare and this could be really devastating for a lot of families. Like are there any provisions being made for teen moms, single moms etc.?

I’m really not, but i’m also not here to convince you. Google is free. Have a blessed day.

this is really stupid. it’s not faux - outrage, if it’s true and quite frankly I was not outraged, I simply pointed what *is* an actual microaggression. The entire point of a microaggression is that the people who cause the aggression *don’t* know that they’re doing it.

also #notallwhitewomen

it’s really annoying seeing white women on twitter chastise this hashtag, considering ww vote democrat nationally at a rate of 52% compared to bw’s 95%. like bw might complain about her through this hashtag, but they’re the ones that are *actually* going to show up.

I have no doubt that you had good intentions, and this came of much snarkier than I intended it to be. It IS a microaggression however, that many black people do notice, you’re not the first and certainly won’t be the last, I just so happened to see it and thought to point out.

why do people always use the word “stunning” to describe black women. she’s just beautiful. she’s not a gazelle.
