The SAG Awards - which announced their nominations yesterday - has an "Outstanding performance by an ensemble" category, but unfortunately the cast of OITNB was snubbed this year.

Other Jezebel stories from today:

I'm halfway through Zadie Smith's White Teeth, which is amazing and very much recommended. (However, the realization that the book was written while Smith was still in college may cause feelings of inadequacy and "what the fuck have I done with life".) I also recently read Amsterdam by Ian McEwan, which was a very

What was it like working there?

Well, Lorde does write her own songs. And Lana Del Rey has attracted plenty of ire, arguable more than Rihanna (at least from what I've seen).

Dan Bucatinsky and Jeff Perry have such amazing chemistry; I love watching them together. That scene between Cyrus and James was so heartbreaking and perfect.

Definitely my two favorite characters. I would love to see Bellamy Young and Jeff Perry get nominated for some awards in the future; they're both brilliant.

Oh, is that the one with the post on how anorexic women make the best girlfriends or something? I can see how that would be a good hate-read!

Sorry, this is very off-topic, but what is ROK? I feel like I've seen this acronym before and I can't figure out what website it refers to.

Yeah, Celebitchy commenters tend to be like that. Their collective Hiddleston hatred has always seemed bizarre and over-the-top to me. Oh well.

Well, I never had much of an attachment to the book - it wasn't one of my favorites as a child and I think I only read it once or twice before seeing the movie. So I guess I was just viewing the film as its own separate entity without thinking of the book. Maybe that has something to do with my more positive reaction

Finally, someone else who isn't crazy about Robert Downey Jr. I thought I was the only one.

Seriously. They criticize John Slattery for wearing blackface on Mad Men - you know, when he's in character as a racist man in the 1960's - and One Direction for filming PSAs for a charity that helps people in Africa ("White saviorism and promotion of the stereotype the Africa is universally poor"). I hate telling

Those DP/30 interviews are amazing.

Wait, what was wrong with WTWTA? I remember quite liking it.

"that review that focused on the white female character was bullshit"

Very good points, thanks.

Well said.

Agreed.

And luckily I have both of those at home. :) Thanks!
