I have a master's degree in linguistics (full disclosure: my thesis advisor was Chomsky's arch-enemy, George Lakoff), so I have some opinions about this. The thing is, you don't even need to look at "exotic" languages like Pirahã to shoot some pretty major holes in Chomsky's theory of language.

I have In Ghost Colors on my iPad and like it pretty well, but since I'm more of a Gameological person these days, I mainly think of Cut Copy as "the band whose bassist created QWOP."

I remember when "Turn Around" was a Dial-A-Song, and it totally blew my mind (in the sense that I was laughing hysterically throughout the song).
