The idea is decent, but the production quality is lacking.
This is contrary to the testimony of the accused.
He was in Godzilla, right?
I'm thinking they should go full Seinfeld and open the movie with T'Challa doing stand up jokes that start with 'Did you ever notice how…' over that sweet bass line.
Steven Spielberg.
Obviously Episode IX should be 140 minutes of CGI Carrie Fisher as a tribute.
Just spitballing ideas here, but what if that wire could then be connected to the phone, so you'd get superior sound quality and no need for charging?
I find 'really' and 'actually' fine in that context because they're not insisting upon themselves. And like you said, 'really' is an intensifier whereas 'literally' doesn't add anything to a sentence unless used for its original definition. Furthermore, we're now running out of words to use to describe something as…
I don't find it poetic; it find it clumsy. Every time I hear or read it it seems like placeholder for an accurate descriptor. It doesn't help that it means the exact opposite of what it's being used for and that it's ridiculously overused. But yes, this is my opinion.
Yes; if enough people use a word incorrectly any word can mean anything. That doesn't stop said usage from sounding stupid.
Okay, I'm gonna stop you right there and use you as an example to air my semantic grievances. That is not what 'literally' means, nor is it how it's supposed to be used, unless she actually entered a polygamist pact with the entire ensemble.
Actually, I think "Place Slogan Here" is for the Central African Republic.
In hindsight, he definitely seems like the type of crazy person that supports Donald Trump.
Everyone knows Trump only plays chess in the best, most luxurious dimensions. His even classes them up with some gold plating and slaps on his signature Trump Dimensions sign.
"Game Freak stuck with the same 3-D models they used in 2013’s Pokémon X and Y-". I thought they changed them to have actual human proportions?
I think it's partly the fault of the evolution of language. People use inflammatory words to get a response, and then it becomes the new normal and no one knows what language to use to describe the thing that it originally defined.
I'm sure we'll come up with a great strategy to defeat the Republicans in this echo-chamber.
I think that's a fair objective, but I wouldn't go as far to assume that all Trump voters were motivated by racism/racial resentment. I mean, probably a whole lot of them, but still, I agree with Steward in that creating monoliths is a bit hypocritical and not really helping.
I'm really not trying to be condensing, but I think it's good to ask yourself why you need to place blanket labels. If it's not to make them feel ashamed of there actions then is it for the self-satisfaction, and is it helping or degrading discourse?
