I think since the show is getting lower on characters now, I might be a good time to introduce him. As the three heads of the dragon is a central part of the prophesies, the only way the show would exclude him is if he's not really Aegon. (So the exclusion itself would kind of be a spoiler for book readers.)

Young Griff truther here. I think it's plausible that Varys is going to fetch him. The only ships in Westeros worth getting would be the ones from the Iron Islands, and those are on the way, so I think that statement was just a cover.
