I've quite enjoyed his recent historicals. They aren't as big in scope as Hyperion but they've been enjoyable.

Oh, that's what Killjoys is. I saw a reference to just the title but it was so vague that I wasn't even motivated to look it up.

I liked the fifth one a lot but I also was slightly let down by the fourth — I couldn't decide if the new one is my favourite of all or just that it's a nice bump up from the last one in enjoyability.

Yeah, we always just made sure our total cost of ownership/CD we wanted was low enough. We'd only buy the cheap deals and we worked out that we were paying like $5-$6/CD over the whole time of our membership.
