Still no Grand Funk Railroad.

Still no Bachman-Turner Overdrive.
Until they're enshrined… it's not a true Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Just once I'd love to see either the following -

I think it's time for another telethon…

I really like that MGM-era Chuck Jones animated style. You can see it in his Tom and Jerry shorts, as well as in the Phantom Tollbooth and The Bear That Wasn't There. Of course, his best MGM-era animated special (outside of the Grinch) has to be the Dot and the Line. No argument.

I've heard that the Rwandan version of Zork has better production values…

I tried to enter some artwork based on Tonmen jumping out the window to his death, but they didn't like my "King's Landing" caption regarding same.

Again … who is this Kewpieguy and why should I give a shit about him?

Yeah, the "horse's head in the bed" callback just ruined the episode for me. I was more expecting that the fashion designer would have tried to make a sexual advance on Andre (or Andre pimping out his services).

I'm just waiting for the big Spider-Man cross-over movie featuring Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, Nicholas Hammond and the guy who had the mecha robot in the Japanese Supaidaman TV series.

AN aside. I remember watching the Matthew Broderick Godzilla reboot (god-awful), but in the beginning of the film, when the survivor was trying to describe the monster that destroyed his boat, it sounded as if he first said "Godzilla," but then said "God-killer." That mondegreen was probably the best part of that

Maybe we're all waiting for Jaden to star in that After Earth sequel…

September 1, 2016 - the trade deadline - is on a Thursday. So Mike's almost-last-game with the Padres was on Monday, August 31. Which, on Pitch, was a day game. On a weeknight. In fact, is there some reason why all the games on Pitch are day games? Were lights never installed at Petco Park in the Pitch universe?

Call me when they sign Leslie Jones as Midge and Kate McKinnon as Skipper.

The Department's copy of the Best of Glass Tiger CD must have worn out.

This from a band that recently licensed their name and logo to a series of credit cards. Filthy lucre, indeed…

This just in … Tyler Perry wants to remake Song of the South as a Madea movie.

Kinda bummed we didn't get any stories about his short stint on Tour of Duty as "Pops" Scarlet, in that after about three episodes his son Lee Majors Jr was also cast on the show.

All-Star Comics #8? Wasn't WW's first appearance in Sensation Comics #1?

What's with all these reboots of 1970's movies and TV show? I mean, do we really need another supertrain in our lives?

Well, if this was a bottle episode, it was an okay bottle episode. Those live baseball scenes can't be easy (or cheap) to film, so yeah let's have a rain delay episode.
